3-D Service Acquires Remote Inspection Capability

MASSILLON, Ohio (July 21, 2004) — 3-D Service, Ltd., a leader in the repair and maintenance of commercial and industrial equipment, today announced that its service center in Massillon, Ohio, has recently purchased VideoProbe ® XL PRO™ borescope equipment with remote video imaging capability. This tool enables 3-D Service to visually inspect industrial equipment without having to dismantle it, thus reducing the customer’s downtime and minimizing lost productivity due to equipment malfunction.

The VideoProbe XL PRO, made by Everest VIT, is the world’s most advanced remote viewing tool. Powered by Everest VIT’s exclusive new iView technology platform, the XL PRO system has the most advanced digital imaging and measurement capabilities available with features that allow the operator to manipulate and store video and still images for precise documentation. The tool can be used to perform internal inspections on a wide range of applications from large vessels, steam headers, and cavities to small tubing. It is also useful for weld inspections and retrieving debris from plant systems or machinery.

Concerning the purchase of the VideoProbe XL PRO, Bernie DeWees, president of 3-D Service said, "Our goal is the same as our customers’ goal, which is to manage the repair and maintenance of their equipment with a minimum of downtime.
