EASA Convention Highlight

Steve Smith, Product Line Manager for New Motors and Parts, was highlighted in the August issue of Electrical Apparatus magazine. Roving reporter Elizabeth Van Ness asked attendees at the Dallas EASA Convention the following questions:

• Are energy costs affecting your business?
• How is your business responding?

Steve’s responses were featured along with those of several other attendees.  Most all replied that they are being affected by rising energy costs and that as much as possible they are trying to lower costs of doing business. Unfortunately, almost without exception, respondents have had to pass on some of the costs to customers.

WindPower 2008

3-D Service displayed their wind turbine maintenance and repair services at the WINDPOWER 2008 Conference & Exhibition in Houston, TX June 1 - 4.  Billed as the largest and most anticipated wind energy event held annually in the world, the conference included an interactive display of wind energy products and services.  3-D Service showcased their complete service for electric power generating windmills that helps extend equipment service life and assures power generation performance.
